So Drama! Entertainment revamps brand identity, launches Creative Innovation Division

Singapore – So Drama! Entertainment has unveiled a bold brand refresh, introducing a new logo, website, and brand film alongside the launch of a dedicated Creative Innovation division to drive its next phase of growth and creativity.

As part of its brand refresh, So Drama! has introduced a newly designed logo featuring a sideways exclamation point. The design reflects the energy and creativity of the entertainment industry while symbolising a spotlight and megaphone, representing the company’s focus on storytelling and engagement.

So Drama! has also updated its tagline to “What’s life without a little drama?” The rhetorical question reflects the company’s focus on storytelling and engagement, emphasising its role in capturing moments of joy, emotion, and discovery through creative content.

The media company also introduced a rebranded corporate website, designed to showcase its latest projects, talent, and capabilities. The updated site aims to provide a clearer view of the company’s work while reflecting its evolving identity and focus on content and storytelling.

So Drama!’s brand refresh extends across its key assets—CAMOKAKIS, 88.3JIA, POWER 98 LOVE SONGS, Music & Drama Company, and PIONEER—along with its talent, content creation, video production, and technology capabilities.

As part of its brand refresh, So Drama! has established the Creative Innovation department, led by newly hired deputy director Chris Leow, to enhance creative ideation and social engagement. Trevor Lim joins as team lead of Ideation Lab, overseeing creative development, while Anthony Kho takes on team lead of Virtual Production to strengthen virtual production efforts.

Wrapping it up, So Drama! has released its 2025 Brand Film, showcasing its approach to storytelling, technology, and production. Created in-house, the film brings together teams responsible for scripting, design, filming, editing, choreography, and virtual production.

The film incorporates past projects through dance choreography and concludes with a virtual preview of So Drama!’s upcoming home near ITE Central, set to open in 2027. Using its in-house soundstage and the ARRI ALEXA 35 camera, the team applied a virtual production workflow to enhance visual depth and efficiency.

Melvin Kuek, executive director of So Drama!, shared, “This brand refresh is a reflection of not only how far So Drama! has come, but also where we are headed. I am very proud of the fact that the entire brand film was done in-house, from production to talents to music. It shows off our capabilities as a multimedia agency and also represents our commitment to connect, engage, and inspire change as we create sticky content and grow exciting strategic partnerships for clients and country.”

Hotel commerce SiteMinder unveils rebranding

Sydney, Australia – To open the door to what it has identified as the online hotel commerce era, hotel commerce platform SiteMinder has just launched a total rebrand.

SiteMinder, which services more than 32,000 hotels across 150 countries, helps hotels to sell, market, manage and grow their business from one place.

The platform said the rebrand, which was led by SiteMinder’s in-house creative and marketing team, reflects the updated needs of its customers, the expectations set of them, and its need to evolve accordingly. It includes a new logo, tagline, and typeface, as well as a new color palette, to be reflected across all SiteMinder assets, including a new website design and software redesign.

Moreover, the platform’s new tagline, ‘Hotel software that means business without boundaries,’ leans into SiteMinder’s renewed focus on being a partner to hotel businesses in the new online hotel commerce era that “knows no limits” and leaves “no room for compromise.”

Mark Renshaw, SiteMinder’s chief marketing officer, shared that the rebrand was prompted by reflecting on the always-on nature of being a hotelier today, and SiteMinder’s renewed promise to support hoteliers to find success for their business using the platform.

“The landscape for hotels has altered significantly over the past 18 months and so it was apt that we revisited what we stood for as a company and how we could continue to make a difference to the lives of our customers. We began by renewing our company purpose to open up every hotel to online commerce – an era that we identified all hotels now find themselves, even if they don’t know it yet,” said Renshaw.

He added, “Our new logo, which we call the ‘door to more’, invokes an image of entering a hotel lobby and also represents our own invitation to every hotel to open up their world of opportunity.”

Tech firm NCS Group in APAC endeavors into a rebranding

Singapore – The uptake of digital services continues to accelerate over the years, and with this, more and more businesses look into developing strategies and solutions to stay on top of new advances. A technology services firm in APAC, NCS Group, is taking this route with the launch of its new brand identity and campaign to reposition the company for growth in the 5G era across the region.

The strategic reset, which is supported by its lead agency partner dentsu international in Singapore, focuses on growing digital services, scaling its government and telco business segments, and also capturing new growth opportunities in the enterprise sector across the key markets of Singapore, Australia, and Greater China.

The rebranding includes changing NCS’ previous brand purpose and logo. From ‘making IT happen’, the tagline has been modified to ‘make extraordinary happen’, which is inspired by the brand’s story of being a ‘no ordinary company’ and the countless exciting innovations happening around the business.

The new logo, meanwhile, has combined simplified typography with a new logo device called the ‘N power’ mark – a symbol of two forward slashes, which represents the double forward slashes used in internet URLs, and in-line comments in computer programming. The slashes signify how deeply anchored NCS is in technology and its intention to leverage technology to champion transformation for governments and enterprises.

“The new logo needed to be vibrant, contemporary yet trustworthy, and retain the long heritage and achievements of the company,” noted NCS in a press statement.

Prakash Kamdar, the CEO at dentsu Singapore, said, “It is delightful to have been able to power the launch of NCS’s major transformation campaign and we look forward to a stronger partnership in the coming year.”

Meanwhile, Francesca Babet, the head of gyro Singapore, the B2B creative agency within dentsu, commented that they are deeply appreciative of the opportunity to work with NCS to help it anchor its new brand identity in the region.

“A truly holistic brand transformation journey can be successful only when it is able to provide an end-to-end delivery that captures, among others, expertise in branding, design, web, and media. Our dentsu teams were able to do that seamlessly and we are pleased that it has shone through well in NCS’s transformation launch,” said Babet.
