Taipei, Taiwan – Appier has announced an acquisition agreement with Paris-based AdCreative.ai for a total of US$38.7m, including a US$27.3m base. Announced on February 12, this will mark Appier’s fifth major acquisition since its first in 2018. The move is set to accelerate Appier’s generative AI product portfolio, expand its business footprint, and reshape the future of digital advertising and marketing.

With this move, Appier strengthens its ability to deliver cutting-edge generative AI-powered solutions, providing businesses with enhanced performance and cost efficiencies across the entire advertising lifecycle—from creative generation to performance optimisation.

Moreover, the acquisition will reinforce Appier’s first-mover advantage in the market and empowers its clients to unlock new growth opportunities in AI-driven advertising and marketing, particularly in dynamic sectors like e-commerce, gaming, and consumer goods.

Chih-Han Yu, CEO and co-founder at Appier, said, “As we scale aggressively on a global level, this acquisition strengthens our product portfolio, accelerates our generative AI advancements, and reinforces our data moat. It also expands our market reach and enhances overall gross margins.”

He added, “With Appier’s leadership in APAC and rapid market penetration in the US, combined with AdCreative.ai’s strategic market position in Europe, we believe this move will further complete our AI map, driving the growth of Appier’s ROI-driven AI marketing solutions across global markets.”

Their proven track record and innovation in AI-driven marketing align perfectly with our mission to redefine ad creative efficiency and performance.”

Prior to AdCreative.ai (2025), Appier’s strategic acquisitions — QGraph (2018, India), Emotion Intelligence (2019, Japan), BotBonnie (2021, Taiwan), and Woopra (2022, USA) — have played a key role in strengthening its full-funnel solutions and expanding its capabilities in AI-driven advertising and marketing technology for growth.

The transaction is expected to close on March 4, with no material impact on Appier’s consolidated financial results for FY24.

Taipei, Taiwan – Global fast food chain Burger King in Taiwan has tapped software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Appier to aid in its personalised marketing campaigns to boost local customer loyalty.

By leveraging Appier’s ‘AI Personalization Cloud’, Burger King Taiwan harnessed diverse creative modules to create engaging marketing campaigns, offering customers a unique and personalised experience.

Moreover, with Appier’s AI-powered personalised marketing platform, Burger King Taiwan was able to collect and analyse customers’ online behavior, including product pages browsed, and shopping cart items. This enabled Burger King Taiwan to execute targeted segmentation marketing campaigns based on detailed information about customer behaviour and preferences, allowing them to seize crucial moments of customer interactions.

Lastly, by integrating the ‘AI Personalization Cloud’ with the OpenWeather API, Burger King Taiwan can recommend products or promotional activities aligned with the local weather conditions in a user’s location.

Taipei, Taiwan – Automotive brand BMW in Taiwan has partnered with SaaS company Appier and creative agency Bremen Digital Creative to create joint efforts in raising BMW Taiwan’s brand awareness and further foster its customer loyalty.

Through the partnership, BMW Taiwan aims to engage both potential buyers and existing BMW car enthusiasts on social media channels. With this, Bremen Digital Creative has developed a campaign around a cherished Lunar New Year tradition where the first person to burn incense in the temple after midnight is blessed with good luck.

Meanwhile, Appier’s BotBonnie conversational marketing solution has been implemented, allowing BMW Taiwan better utilise Meta’s Recurring Notifications feature and successfully connect with its community on Facebook to achieve four times more engagements than it did in previous years with a 78% opt-in rate and 99% read rate. Moreover, with BotBonnie’s comment auto-reply feature, the brand will now be able to immediately respond to users and create a longer duration of engagement with each of them.

Brian Chen, Bremen Digital Creative’s account manager, said that with the directions pre-discussed with BMW Taiwan, they designed the social campaign for the Lunar New Year holiday, hoping to increase the number of engagements that BMW Taiwan could have for Facebook campaigns.

“With BotBonnie’s expertise in conversational marketing, we not only hit the target but also greatly exceeded expectations in several key results,” added Chen.

Meanwhile, Li Chiang, digital marketing specialist at BMW Taiwan, shared that during the whole campaign process, Appier’s BotBonnie solution provided the users with 24/7 support, and with the conversational marketing solution, they could respond to users immediately and create longer and more engaging journeys.

“Importantly, in order to broaden the community of BMW fans and potential customers, we implemented Recurring Notifications which helped the company gain 1,500 subscriptions and 2,500+ participants in three days,” said Chiang.

Samuel Chiang, Appier’s assistant manager of customer success, noted, “With the Lunar New Year campaign, BMW Taiwan saw a tenfold improvement in customer participation over previous online campaigns, and we can attribute that success to Recurring Notifications, powered by Appier’s conversational marketing solution BotBonnie, Meta’s authorised partner.”
