Singapore – Philippine bakery and café brand Café Mary Grace has opened its first international outlet in Singapore, marking a milestone for the 30-year-old brand known for its classic Filipino pastries.
Located along Tanjong Pagar at 52 Tras Street, the 28-seater café began welcoming customers on 13 March 2026.
The new outlet mirrors the warm, homely aesthetic of its Philippine stores, featuring brick-lined walls, stained-glass pendant lights, wooden accents, and handwritten notes left by diners.
Founded in 1994, the brand has grown into a household name in the Philippines, operating more than 140 locations nationwide. Its expansion into Singapore marks the brand’s first step into international markets.
The opening follows the brand’s earlier introduction to the Singapore market through a limited online pop-up in September 2025.
During the three-day “Batch #001” release, Café Mary Grace offered its signature ensaymadas and cheese rolls exclusively online, with the entire batch selling out within days.
At the time, the brand hinted at plans to establish a permanent presence in Singapore, citing strong demand for its pastries among both Filipino residents and local consumers.
The Singapore café now showcases Mary Grace’s signature pastries, including its well-known ensaymada and cheese rolls, alongside beverages such as hot chocolate and specialty drinks.
The menu also features items exclusive to the Singapore outlet, including salted egg ensaymada and kaya pandan cheese rolls.
Beyond pastries, the café offers savoury dishes and all-day brunch options, including Angus beef tapa, grilled chicken inasal focaccia sandwiches, and crab cake brioche.
Guests can also purchase takeaway items such as lengua thins and boxed pastries, allowing visitors to bring the brand’s baked goods home.
The launch introduces a familiar taste of Filipino comfort food to Singapore’s café scene while offering a sense of home for the city’s Filipino community.
