Singapore – KFC Singapore has reopened its long-standing Kallang outlet after a two-month renovation, unveiling a full redesign that positions the location as the brand’s flagship store in Singapore.
First opened in 1979, the standalone branch now features a new futuristic interior and KFC’s first-ever physical merchandise space.
The upgraded outlet incorporates neon lighting, modular fixtures and updated graphic elements, reflecting KFC’s push to modernise its retail experience while maintaining the site’s heritage status.
The redesign follows public concern earlier this year, the store’s temporary closure and a “Permanently Closed” label on Google led to speculation about its potential shutdown.
Now, the new store concept aims to create a more adaptive and social-oriented environment for customers through open layouts and digital touchpoints.
The reopening coincides with the launch of the latest KFC x Amos Ananda collaboration, which will introduce limited-edition pickleball merchandise available at the flagship from November 28.
KFC Singapore has also recently launched their biggest local campaign with, “How Do You KFC?,” inviting Singaporeans to share their eating rituals and brand experiences.
