Malaysia — Malaysian specialty coffee chain ZUS Coffee has officially entered the Thailand market, opening two new outlets in Bangkok as part of its ongoing Southeast Asia expansion strategy.
The new stores are located at Varnit Place Aree, a popular lifestyle hub, and Baan Kampu Asoke on Sukhumvit 21 Road.
“We’re excited to see ZUS coffee bring their unique coffee experience to Thai consumers, and we’re glad to be part of their journey as they grow in Thailand,” Thai leasing company RSC said during their branch launch at Vanit Place Aree.
The branch launch was headed by ZUS Thailand country manager along with RSC managing director Khun Attharkon Wuddhikullaphak and manager Khun Thanasin Inthongsuk.
ZUS Coffee’s Thailand debut aligns with its 2025 growth plan to open 200 new outlets across Southeast Asia, including 107 in Malaysia, around 80 in the Philippines, and six in Singapore.
Further market entries are planned in Brunei and Indonesia.
The company described its debut launch as “super exciting,” with promos posted online like free Spanish Latte for the first 100 customers on both branches’ official opening.
Founded in 2019, ZUS Coffee offers affordable specialty coffee and has rapidly scaled to over 700 stores in Malaysia, up from 290 in 2023. Its international expansion began in 2023 with its first overseas store in the Philippines.
