London – AEG International has announced nine senior promotions within its Global Partnerships division as part of a leadership restructure aimed at strengthening partner experience and improving alignment across its global operations.
The Global Partnerships team, which handles sponsorship and premium seating for the live entertainment company, said the changes are intended to support its expanding portfolio of venues, tours, and events, as well as rising demand from brands seeking partnerships in live entertainment.
Among the appointments, Georgina Iceton has been promoted to senior vice president of global partnerships at AEG International. In her new role, she will focus on driving global collaboration across markets while continuing to lead the rollout of partnerships across the company’s UK assets, including The O2. Iceton has been with the organisation for more than 18 years.

Meanwhile, Matthew Zweck has been appointed senior vice president at AEG Global Partnerships under AEG International. Based in Australia, Zweck will lead partnership initiatives across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. He has previously been involved in securing partnerships for venues such as IG Arena, UOB Live, and Mercedes-Benz Arena Shanghai.
In addition to the senior vice president appointments, six team members have been promoted to vice president roles with expanded responsibilities. These include Laura Palairet, Matt Botten, and Liana Mellotte, who will work across UK venues under AEG International, with Mellotte also overseeing partnership sales for AXS. Ollie Blake will focus on global partnerships strategy for AEG International, while Carla Morini and Katie Cavanagh will lead global partnerships for venues, festivals, and events under AEG Presents UK.
According to the company, the newly promoted leaders collectively bring more than a century of experience within the organisation and have played key roles in developing partnerships across its global portfolio.
Paul Samuels, president of global partnerships at AEG International, said, “Our business continues to grow, and with growth comes the need for a strong, steady executive team to navigate new opportunities. It’s a pleasure to see trusted, long-standing team members step into these leadership roles. Their deep knowledge of AEG’s business, understanding of our clients, and passion for reimagining our offerings position us for continued success as we expand. I’m proud to lead a team that balances bold inspiration with a steady, reliable hand.”
