Singapore — Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) has granted full three-year ride-hail service operator licences to Geo Lah Pte Ltd and Trans-cab Services Pte Ltd, following the completion of their provisional licensing period.
The two operators were awarded provisional licences on December 23, 2024, allowing them to begin offering ride-hail services from January 1, 2025 while strengthening their operational capabilities to meet LTA’s regulatory standards for safety and service provision.
Under LTA’s Point-to-Point regulatory framework, operators with 800 or more bookable vehicles are licensed based on the type of services they provide, including street-hail, ride-hail, or car-pool services.
Following a year of operations, LTA assessed that both Geo Lah and Trans-Cab had met the requirements for full licensing.
Their RSOLs will now be valid from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2027.
With the inclusion of Geo Lah and Trans-Cab, Singapore now has seven ride-hail operators holding full RSOLs, expanding the range of ride-hailing options available to commuters.
