Nokia phone marketer HMD Global MY taps TEAM LEWIS to handle its social, PR

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Marketing agency TEAM LEWIS has recently won the account of the Malaysian arm of global mobile phone company HMD Global to be its agency partner to drive its social and public relations campaigns in Malaysia.

Through the appointment, TEAM LEWIS will provide brand, communications and issues consultancy, as well as media relations, content creation and monitoring for Nokia mobile within Malaysia. 

Furthermore, The agency will work alongside HMD Global’s marketing team to bring the brand’s vision to life and strengthen Nokia mobile’s presence within the community as the relationship of consumers with their smartphones and technology continues to evolve.

Adhesive PR appointed as HMD Global’s agency of record in ANZ

Sydney, Australia – Independent public relations agency Adhesive has been appointed by tech company HMD Global which manufactures the cellphone brand Nokia, as its public relations agency of record in Australia and New Zealand.

Adhesive has been tasked with the role of developing earned media strategies to effectively communicate HMD Global’s brand values and ensure the brand story connects with new audiences.

Furthermore, Adhesive will manage the public relations, influencer, and social media activity for HMD Global, across both of its ANZ offices. Additionally, Adhesive will also be responsible for the company’s corporate reputation management.

Telstra designates new managing director to take helm of South Asia and Singapore

Singapore – Global telecommunications company Telstra has appointed Geraldine Kor as the new managing director for South Asia, and at the same time, as the company’s country managing director for Singapore. 

Under the new role, Kor will be responsible for South Asia markets including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. She will also be responsible for Telstra’s Australian and New Zealand customers expanding internationally, wherein she will be leveraging her expertise in technology domain and customer market development.

Prior to joining Telstra, she has worked with technology company DXC Technology, where she assumed the role of  director of global alliances and partnerships, as well as regional business operations director for Asia and director of marketing and communications. She also previously was the senior sales director of mapping technology company HERE Technologies, and managed the product and channel development of telecommunications and consumer electronics company Nokia Mobile for Asia Pacific.
