Singapore – Lesley Renton, most recently the head of marketing and demand generation for Greenpark, has officially moved on from the role and has been named the head of marketing for The Royal Albatross, a luxury tall ship owned and operated by Tall Ship Adventures.

In a LinkedIn post, Renton thanked her colleagues at Greenpark for the time she has served with the digital agency as it continued to scale its operations in Asia-Pacific.

“I am so proud of everything we have achieved together as a team, working with world-class Greenparkers to build Greenpark into one of the fastest growing digital agencies in APAC and globally,” she said.

She added, “I would also like to express my gratitude to all our Greenpark clients who I had the wonderful opportunity to partner & collaborate with, to deliver purposeful projects to meet commercial objectives and their digital vision.”

She had also served as Greenpark’s head of business for Asia-Pacific, where she managed a team within the function to increase the momentum of Greenpark’s business wins and regional client acquisition.

Prior to joining Greenpark, she also held multiple marketing roles in Travelodge Hotels Asia, Pico Art, Freeman, Sampoerna, and British American Tobacco.

The Royal Albatross, which previously operated in the United States, is one of Singapore’s premier hospitality venues which can host private parties and corporate events.

London, England Global brand publishing agency Green Park Content has promoted Lesley Renton as its head of marketing and demand generation for APAC. Renton made the announcement through a LinkedIn post on January 5.

Renton is a seasoned digital marketing leader with expertise in online and offline integrated marketing campaigns, digital marketing, new business, and events.

Prior to her new role, she worked as head of new business for APAC at the agency. She also previously held the general manager and director of marketing role at event marketing agency Clearwater Communications.

Green Park Content has also previously bagged the digital and creative mandates for the Indonesian snack brand Maxicorn and the Philippines’ telco giant Globe.

Singapore – Lesley Renton, the general manager and director for marketing of Singapore-based agency Clearwater Communications, has bid farewell to join another marketing agency, Green Park Content (GPC), but this time, taking a region-bound role as the agency’s new head of new business for APAC.

GPC is a global digital-first marketing agency whose APAC-based offices include Jakarta and Singapore. GPC said the acquisition of new hires comes as it continues to scale up and grow its operations seeing an increased demand for its content marketing, SEO, technical services, and social media services. 

Renton will assume her responsibilities under the leadership of GPC’s Managing Director Marcelo Bittencourt. She is charged with the task to drive new business and “turbo power growth.” She will be managing a growing team within the function to increase the momentum of GPC’s business wins and regional client acquisition. 

Just recently, GPC has also added to its team a new Head of Client Services for APAC Martin Niens well as the promotion of Fe Husaint to the creative director role for APAC

Renton held her most recent position at Clearwater Communications for a little over a year. She brings with her a wealth of expertise from over 20 years in Asia, working in a variety of leadership roles in global brand marketing, agencies, and events, for hypergrowth startups and MNCs; including hospitality development company Travelodge Hotels Asia, event services Pico, brand experience company Freeman, and F&B Harry’s, among others.
