New York, USA – Global creative-as-a-service company Shuttlerock has appointed Guillem Bonavia as its newest chief strategy officer to continue the company’s rapid growth and global expansion.

He is based in Auckland, New Zealand and will report to CEO and founder Jonny Hendriksen to accelerate key focus areas that will drive the greatest impact over the coming years.

Bonavia has a rich consultancy history beginning two decades ago in Barcelona with positions at Accenture and Everis. He then moved to London where he held key roles at leading financial and consultancy institutions such as Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and McKinsey & Company. In 2016, Guillem was appointed by Lloyds Banking Group to drive the Digital Transformation journey.

Following that, he was hired as the head of strategy (digital) for Woolworths NZ in 2018. In this role, Guillem shaped the digital strategy and transformation portfolio.

Speaking on his appointment, he said, “The strategic goals for Shuttlerock are to double down on our focus on the creative-as-a-service model, increase our active customer base by delivering best in-class value and build up key technology and creative capabilities that set our customers up for success.”

The new appointment follows the recent hire of Kirsty Traill as chief customer officer, as well as two additional senior promotions of Cameron Burns as chief of staff and Arron Redmore as chief creative officer.

New York, USA – Shuttlerock, a creative-as-a-service (CaaS), has appointed Kirsty Traill as their chief customer officer tasked with leading the global customer team and overall customer strategy. Traill will be responsible for defining the ideal client experience and aligning resources to achieve client outcomes, driving operational efficiencies and building for scale.

Traill hails from New Zealand where she spent the early part of her career at Hewlett-Packard (HP). She moved to Japan and then Silicon Valley with HP before joining Snapfish, an e-commerce organisation with 100 million customers. After 5 years at Snapfish Traill moved on to Hootsuite where she was latterly VP of customer tasked with building and scaling the global customer organisation.

In her new role, she will continue to be based in the United States, working with Shuttlerock’s global teams in North America, Asia-Pacific and Europe.

Speaking on her new role, Traill said, “I’m really excited to be joining Shuttlerock, working alongside Jonny and his leadership team to build and scale the customer organisation and maximising the incredible business opportunities we have in front of us.”

Meanwhile, Jonny Hendriksen, founder and CEO at Shuttlerock, commented, “We are seeing tremendous appetite for this kind of model in the industry. Not least because it frees up the marketer’s creative talent to focus on ideation and strategy, but it also turns the unpredictable world of budget management and production deadlines into highly predictable spend patterns and fast turnaround times.”

He added, “Kirsty has a fantastic track record when it comes to building and scaling customer organisations, particularly with a focus on customer engagement, loyalty and retention. As Shuttlerock continues to expand we want to ensure our customer experience is seamless across product, process and business outcomes.”

Singapore – Creative digital production house Shuttlerock has announced its latest initiative called ‘Creative For Good’ which invites non-government organisations to use their creative productions services for free as part of their long-term social impact strategy.

Said initiative was first catalysed into existence by Shuttlerock’s commitment to the ‘Pledge 1%’ movement, where companies donate 1% of their time, product, profit and/or equity in an effort to support and accelerate the progress of mission-driven organisations.

The production house aims to equip them with the digital creative and marketing knowledge they need to gain traction in their online fundraising, volunteer recruitment and awareness efforts. By offering up creative services at no cost, NGOs are able to gain access to the same world-class technology and services as leading enterprises.

Jonny Hendriksen, CEO and founder at Shuttlerock, said, “I’m so proud that we’ve grown Shuttlerock to a place where we can start giving back to our people, our communities and our planet. ‘Creative For Good’ is the first step in our long-term commitment to driving positive change.”

He added, “We deliver impactful video creative to the world’s biggest brands every day. It’s time we extend that success to those who are focused on making the world a better place: to those promoting equality, tackling climate change, enhancing sustainability and improving our communities.”

In addition, Shuttlerock will be donating 1% of its product and 1% of its time as part of the program’s dual offering: the Creative Accelerator arm, which offers three months of free access to Shuttlerock’s CaaS (Creative As A Service) cloud solution.

Furthermore, NGOs will be able to brief and order handcrafted video creative as well as have access to tutorials and other educational content designed to help marketers master the power of digital creative.
