Chito Bauzon is a senior marketing leader with nearly 25 years of experience across banking, retail, manufacturing, and international branding agencies. He currently serves as Vice President and Head of Stakeholder Management and Marketing Services at Maybank Philippines, where he oversees enterprise marketing, corporate communications, and service quality management.
At Maybank, he led the integrated marketing strategy for the relaunch of the M2U banking app, orchestrating cross-channel campaigns, customer education, branch activation, and stakeholder communications to accelerate adoption and strengthen the bank’s digital platform.
Prior to this, at SM Supermalls, he led the rebranding of SM Cares into one of the Philippines’ most recognized CSR platforms, spearheading nationwide sustainability, inclusion, and disaster risk resilience initiatives for key stakeholders. These programs strengthened brand trust, reinforced SM’s business relevance, and earned multiple local and international recognitions, including the Anvil Awards, Dragons of Asia Awards, the International Council of Shopping Centers Awards, and the Global CSR Awards.
He began his career in branding agencies in the Kingdom of Bahrain and later held marketing leadership roles at SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation.
An alumnus of the University of Santo Tomas, Chito combines strategic direction with hands-on execution across integrated marketing, brand growth, stakeholder engagement, and customer-centered leadership.
