Singapore – Grow Public Relations (Grow PR), a boutique public relations agency in Singapore, has launched Reputation Mastery (RM), an online PR academy tailored specifically for startups and SMEs. The online programme is designed to enable startups and SMEs to build in-house PR capabilities such as crafting PR materials and media outreach.

RM comprises a 7-week pre-recorded training programme, 30 PR guides and templates, 1:1 PR analysis sessions and group mentoring sessions.

According to Christel Goh, Grow PR Founder and CEO, the idea for the programme came from seeing the struggle that many startups and SMEs face in getting media coverage for their businesses while managing tight budgets.

“We wanted to create a programme that would empower small business owners with the skills and knowledge they need to do their own PR effectively. This is the first and only programme of its kind in Singapore, and we are excited to be leading the way in this space,” said Goh.

RM covers a range of topics, including how to create a compelling story angle, how to pitch to journalists and editors, and how to build relationships with the media. Participants can also opt for personal or group coaching to help them apply the concepts to their specific business and industry.

“We believe that every small business deserves the chance to have their story heard in the media,” added Goh. “Our training programme is designed to level the playing field and give startups and SMEs the tools they need to get their brand out there and take their business to new heights.”

The agency says the standout aspects of the programme are its inclusion of several guides and templates on crafting PR angles, drafting press releases, and identifying the most suitable journalists to pitch to.
