Bangkok, Thailand – Ahead of the premiere of Girl from Nowhere The Reset on 7 March, SOUR Bangkok has launched an out-of-home billboard campaign across key locations in Bangkok.

Girl from Nowhere follows the story of Nanno, a mysterious girl who transfers between different schools and exposes misconduct within their systems. The new installment in the franchise, Girl from Nowhere The Reset, continues to explore themes of crime and abuse of power set within fictional schools.

The billboards display bold headlines referencing controversies depicted in the series, including corruption, hidden-camera crimes, and election cheating. They are partially censored, with the names of the fictional schools obscured.

According to SOUR Bangkok, the decision to conceal the school names was intended to suggest that such incidents could occur in any institution, while triggering curiosity among passersby. The agency added that the narratives portrayed in the series reflect issues that resonate with Thai audiences.

The campaign was rolled out around the same period as Thailand’s national election, aligning with broader public discussions on leadership and morality.

Produced by SOUR Bangkok, Girl from Nowhere The Reset is a reimagining of the original series, depicting a new storyline set in a different universe. Rebecca Patricia Armstrong portrays Nanno in the reboot, taking over the character from Chicha Amatayakul.

The billboards reference the show’s tagline, “When evil strikes every day, Nanno must return,” with each installation concluding with the phrase, “Prepare for Nanno.”
