United States – Nike has reintroduced ‘All Conditions Gear’ (ACG), a dedicated outdoor-performance brand aimed at athletes engaged in trail running, hiking, and other outdoor exploration. The brand’s relaunch follows more than four decades of serving adventurous athletes globally.
“This is a defining moment in ACG’s history — a recommitment to all conditions and an invitation to athletes: unplug, get outside and explore,” said Scott LeClair, vice president and general manager of ACG. “ACG has the foundation to shape the future of outdoor performance while pushing into spaces that feel fresh and unexpected. It is going to be a fun ride.”
The relaunch includes a focus on performance innovation across footwear and apparel. Nike Trail will also transition into ACG, integrating innovations from Nike’s running division to support outdoor athletes of varying abilities.
Moreover, ACG is expanding its All Conditions Racing Department, which includes elite trail runners who test prototypes, provide feedback, and contribute to product development. The Racing Department will also add new athletes this season, including Hiroki Kai and Takako Takamura from Japan; Hyunji Kang and Minchul Ko from Korea; and Jennifer Lichter and Adam Merry from the United States.
The brand is also partnering with independent trail running events, adding Broken Arrow Skyrace and Gorge Waterfalls to its existing sponsorship of the Chongli 168 Ultra Trail. These initiatives aim to provide support and opportunities for outdoor athletes, including emerging talent.
In addition, ACG has opened its first standalone store, the ACG Base Camp, in Beijing’s Taikoo Li Sanlitun shopping centre. The store is designed as a physical space for the brand, offering products and experiences aimed at outdoor enthusiasts. Nike has also announced additional activations in stores worldwide to highlight outdoor performance offerings.
ACG’s relaunch is accompanied by a new brand voice and campaign aimed at promoting exploration, outdoor activity, and engagement with the trail running community.
